8.1 AIRS provides educational resources and supports accredited training programs but does not provide direct surgical training itself.
8.2 Participation in AIRS programs does not guarantee accreditation. Accreditation is granted only when all competency, training, and assessment requirements are met.
8.3 Accreditation confirms that, at the time granted, a surgeon met AIRS’ criteria. AIRS does not supervise, control or guarantee the day-to-day clinical practice, outcomes, conduct or safety of any Accredited Surgeon.
9. Accredited Surgeons & Directory
9.1 Information about Accredited Surgeons may be published on this Website (such as name, qualifications, practice location, and accreditation status).
9.2 AIRS makes no representations or guarantees regarding the outcomes, conduct, or safety of care provided by Accredited Surgeons.
9.3 AIRS is not liable for any negligence, misconduct, or adverse outcomes resulting from care provided by an Accredited Surgeon or any person trained by an AIRS-accredited proctor.
9.4 Surgeon listings are for information only. AIRS does not recommend or endorse any particular surgeon or procedure. If AIRS offers sponsored listings, they will be clearly labelled and will not imply clinical superiority.
